Story
ｼﾞｮﾆｰ･ﾏﾙｺ(ｽﾃｨｰｳﾞﾝ･ﾄﾞｰﾌ)は､LAにあるﾎﾃﾙ"ｼｬﾄｰ･ﾏｰﾓﾝﾄ"で生活している｡ﾌｪﾗｰﾘを乗り回し､退廃的なﾗｲﾌｽﾀｲﾙを送るﾊﾘｳｯﾄﾞｽﾀｰ､ｼﾞｮﾆｰの暮らしは､表向きの華やかさとは裏腹に､実は孤独で空虚だ｡ある日､彼のもとに前妻と同居する11歳の娘ｸﾚｵ(ｴﾙ･ﾌｧﾆﾝｸﾞ)がやって来る｡ひさしぶりに娘と過ごす時間､それは親密で穏やかだった｡
束の間の1日はあっという間に過ぎ､ｸﾚｵを家へ送り届けると､乱痴気騒ぎに明け暮れるいつもの毎日が､また彼を待ち受けていた｡新作の取材に応え､特殊ﾒｲｸの型取りをし､俳優としての仕事をこなすｼﾞｮﾆｰ｡だが､どこかしっくり来ない｡隣室の女と情事を交わし､部屋を出ると､そこには荷物を抱えたｸﾚｵが再びいた｡ﾚｲﾗが突然家を空けるため､ｷｬﾝﾌﾟまでの間､ｸﾚｵはｼﾞｮﾆｰのもとで暮らさなければならなくなったのだ｡
授賞式に参加するため二人で訪れたｲﾀﾘｱ旅行､TVｹﾞｰﾑや卓球に熱中したまばゆい午後｡思いきり笑って少しまどろんだﾌﾟｰﾙｻｲﾄﾞ……｡
そんな何気ない日々の時間のなか､ｼﾞｮﾆｰはやがて気づいていくｰｰ自堕落な生活が置き去りにしてきた､大切な何かを｡

You have probably seen him in the tabloids; Johnny (Stephen Dorff) is living at the legendary Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood. He has a Ferrari to drive around in, and a constant stream of girls and pills to stay in with. Comfortably numbed, Johnny drifts along. Then, his 11-year-old daughter Cleo (Elle Fanning) from his failed marriage arrives unexpectedly at the Chateau. Their encounters encourage Johnny to face up to where he is in life and confront the question that we all must: which path in life will you take?
